literally please give Battison a Dick Grayson in the Batman Part II.

The first movie was about Bruce's journey from not wanting to be Bruce Wayne, to realizing that he does in fact need to be Bruce Wayne, and that Bruce Wayne can be a force used for good just like Batman. Logically then, the second movie should explore the next immediate question on the table: okay, he needs to be Bruce Wayne. So who is Bruce Wayne? What kind of man is Bruce Wayne going to be? Bruce still feels defined by his trauma of his parent's death. Bruce Wayne still feels defined by his parents' shadows, by his father's legacy. He still feels defined by his grief. How does he make Bruce Wayne be something different?

Dick Grayson would serve as the PERFECT device for Bruce to discover who he can be. Because Dick Grayson is literally just a young Bruce, and Bruce sees that instantly (it's why he takes him in in the first place). So throughout the movie, as Bruce tries to help Dick process his grief, he's inadvertently processing his OWN grief. Dick Grayson unknowingly helps Bruce process his own trauma, and through their developing relationship shows him that Bruce Wayne can be more than a recluse, a failure, a man drowning in his own head- he can be a protector, a friend, a parent.

When Dick points a gun at Tony Zucco's head, Bruce talks him down, and all the words that he gives him are words he had wanted when he was a kid and his grief was fresh. Even though they're gone, you're not alone. I understand.

my take on the apathy/mania meter is that its not really representative of daniils brand of mental illness (though im sure he has one) its a product of being under extreme pressure. perhaps not groundbreaking but i say this because for the past few days i had to finish an essay on time and it was really hard you guys, had to fight off that thousand yard stare with little pinches and bites so i get it. I really get what its like

dead on main arranged married au but it’s all because of some random guy who heard from the realms that the prince was single and wanted to marry for power, only that’s not how it works. the bonding spell instead has lady gotham, who has jurisdiction on her city, being given the choice to choose one of her own to marry off the prince. of course she chooses Jason. This is unbeknownst to him. at least, until a justice league dark magical emergency has Jason trying to summon the all blades only to get glowing flamey green guns instead.

To this day I can’t decide what would happen if Karen and Frank got together.

Would Frank stop being the Punisher because he’s with her now, or the other way around and Karen would actively help him go around punishing? Or a mix of both…? I can’t decide which I prefer or would be better.

BUT I am inclined to think Frank would stop being the Punisher before Karen could get more involved in his activities. Not because she would ask him to stop or because he would feel the need to suppress this part of himself, but just because he wouldn’t feel the need to be that anymore. I can see him naturally stopping going out at night, choosing to be with Karen and whatever she was doing because being with her brings him joy.

I am of the belief that “The Punisher” is Frank’s very unhealthy coping mechanism. He does this because he is in pain and that’s the way he can deal with this pain, but if he found a way to heal…a way to soothe the pain that does not involve in acting violence…I don’t think he would need the Punisher anymore.

Haha I also used the dickless bore. I thought that only the two main characters came back didn't know he did as well. I still don't buy him ever being into her but that's just me I do wonder if he's going to try and kill her again. I do think Li Rong is treating him too well for my liking she should at least treat hit similarly or worse than she treated ML I want to see wet paper towel non stop suffer.

on one hand, imo a SRQ who is heartless doesn't work for the story the writer is trying to share with us. On the other hand, it's totally ok to decide to be a full-time hater towards a minor character, just because it's fun. I support haters! 🎉 \o/ 🎉

One thing that I think is relevant when comparing LR's reactions: if PWX had killed her, the motive would have been as part of his mission to have his childhood love Qin Zhenzhen's son become the next emperor. (Remember, he came over to threaten her life over that right before she died and called his ex Zhenzhen lmao) THE AUDACITY. In contrast, LR is viewing her murder at SRQ's hands as part of the revenge plan for the Su family's execution.
